June 30. A cool and airy day with fine views for this traverse from Lincoln Woods to Zealand Trailhead. Just what we wished for, as Christa, Sue and Katharine between them bagged 10 4Ks (Steve, Earl and I in supporting roles).
About 13 hours between trailheads, including some long summit stops for photos, food and (on Bond) a 360-degree review of the Scudder View Guide maps. With those, we ID'd peaks from Monadnock to Gosford (Quebec) and from Ascutney, Mansfield and the Jays in VT to Pleasant (at least) in ME.
The wind really picked up.
